And the story continues....New Friends....Jerry OGara, Robbys drinking partner, was a young up and coming architect. He was the son of an Irish businessman who worked and made his home in the States. His mother was a Mexican school teacher. They met in Mexico city when he was there on business. Jerry was a good six foot five and well built. He had his fathers Irish charm but also a quick temper. He had inherited his mothers brooding Latin American good looks. He was twenty nine years old. Laura Gibson, Jerrys girlfriend, was a twenty four year old Australian fashion designer who had been living in the States for two years now. Although she was a supremely talented designer she found it difficult to get her designs accepted in the U.S. she was currently working as a fashion model. She was statuesque with long and naturally wavy auburn hair. She had stunning green eyes and a warm and friendly disposition. She was much in demand as a model despite wanting to concentrate on her designing. All our four youngsters were soon to become firm friends. Robby and Feelina had rented this rather nice house just outside El Paso. They didnt really know where the wanted to put their roots down. They were so happy together and loved one another deeply. The next thing they had to do was tell their parents of their plans to marry. Joan and Alice had only just returned from their trip to New Guinea which was a great success. Robby phoned Alices house in Greenwich Village New York and Alice told him that Joan had returned to Madison. Robby phoned his parents home in Madison. James answered, it was a little strained at first but then conversation flowed easily. Robby asked if he could speak to his mother. When she came to the phone she sounded so happy and upbeat. She was really pleased to hear his voice again and told him that James had stopped drinking and they were getting on really well together. When Robby told her that he was going to marry Feelina in El Paso she squealed with joy and said that she and James would definately be there for the wedding. Antonio and Isabel were living the dream in Cancun. They had made some sound investments and were financially secure. When Isabel answered the phone to Feelina she just started to cry with happiness when she said that she was going to marry her Hot Ticket Robby....More to come.
