“And they lived happily ever after.” These are the words of a sign that sits below pictures of my children as you walk into the door of our home. That “they” doesn’t just include me and my family, but all of us. “No matter what is happening in your life now, your story has an amazingly happy ending.” It’s incredible how God is able to use everything that happens to us for such good! The more we thank and trust Him to do that, the happier our lives can be. So this doesn’t mean we won’t have problems, but every problem can teach us so much. That’s why I love writing these posts as I get to take stuff that happen to me and look at it from the perspective of what can I learn from this and slowly I feel I’m getting where God would have me to be, not lacking anything. We’re all in training here, whether we like it or not! Want to live the happiest life though? Stay close to God! In every moment, every situation, focus on Him, not the million and one things that are going on around you, taking life one step at a time. Amanda Knox, the American that was charged with murder in Italy said that she was taught a prayer by a prison chaplain that helped her to survive her stay in prison there. He said to pray, “God if you exist, help me.” God is really our Helper. I’m still thinking of the guy who met with us for free for three hours. He was like a gift from God and I’m forever changed by that meeting, as I’m learning to trust God more and more. Worry about nothing, pray about everything. Relax.. WE GO WITH GOD!
