And they say, The Most Merciful has taken [for Himself] a son. You have done an atrocious thing. The heavens almost rupture therefrom and the earth splits open and the mountains collapse in devastation That they attribute to the Most Merciful a son. And it is not appropriate for the Most Merciful that He should take a son. There is no one in the heavens and earth but that he comes to the Most Merciful as a servant. Saying ‘Merry Christmas’ is like saying Youve considered someone to be the son of God, and Allah says that does not befit Him, and that the heavens and the earth and the mountains go haywire because of the integrity of this most heinous accusation....yet, I am a Muslim, so have a happy Christmas, my friend! Starting from our toilet seats to state policies, we Muslims emulate the West without thinking twice about the merit—demerit actually—of our actions. May Allah save me from arrogance, but I think it’s about time I shared with my friends what we need to know. At a time when some of my friends are confused about Aisha (RA) being the wife or daughter of Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him), which in itself shows our ignorance towards knowledge, I am ashamed and appalled to see how excellently they remember Halloween (which has Pagan roots) and nonetheless—25th of December, the highly debated birth date of Jesus Christ (peace be upon him). Yet some ppl will be like ‘But man Islam is about humanity and respect…’. My reply: Please read the verses I quoted. In natural circumstances, I cannot and will not, In Shaa Allah, compromise with anything that goes against the very core of Islam. This is a reminder for my Muslim brothers and sisters, and may Allah reward Muft Menk for reminding me! My status was NOT meant to hurt any Christian. BarakAllahu Fik.
