And you shall remember that the Lord your God led all the way these many years in the wilderness to HUMBLE you and test you to know what was in your heart whether you would keep His commandments (instruction) or not. So He HUMBLED you, allowed you to hunger and fed you with manna which you did not know nor did your fathers know that He might make you know that man shall not live by bread alone but MAN LIVES BY EVERY WORD THAT PROCEEDS FROM THE MOUTH OF THE LORD. You should know that as a man chastens his son, so the Lord your God chastens you. Therefore you shall keep the commandments of the Lord your God, to walk in His ways and to fear Him. The Lord your God is bringing you into a good land. When you have eaten and are full then you shall bless the Lord your God for the good land which He has given you. BEWARE THAT YOU DO NOT FORGET THE LORD YOUR GOD BY NOT KEEPING HIS COMMANDMENTS, HIS JUDGMENTS AND STATUTES WHICH I COMMAND (INSTRUCT) YOU TODAY, LEST WHEN YOU HAVE EATEN AND ARE FULL AND HAVE BUILT BEAUTIFUL HOUSES AND WELL IN THEM AND YOUR SILVER AND GOLD IS MULTIPLIED, WHEN YOUR HEART IS LIFTED UP AND YOU FORGET THE LORD YOUR GOD WHO BROUGHT YOU OUT OF BONDAGE THEN YOU SAY IN YOUR HEART; MY POWER AND MIGHT HAVE GAINED ME THIS WEALTH. THEN IT SHALL BE, IF YOU BY ANY MEANS FORGET THE LORD YOUR GOD AND FOLLOW IDOLS, I TESTIFY AGAINST YOU THIS DAY AND YOU SHALL SURELY PERISH BECAUSE YOU WOULD NOT BE OBEDIENT (FOLLOW INSTRUCTIONS) TO THE VOICE OF THE LORD YOUR GOD. COMMENTARY: The voice of God is the voice of a man who has been given to know the deep mysterious ways of God preparing other men through great signs causing them to wonder, for man is wonderfully made, about the things of God which are written and recorded in the Book of instruction through testimony of these things which leads to eternal life. Many people ask, why me? And the answer is because you called upon the ways of God not knowing them to give you relief from the uncertainties of life in the form of poverty, sickness, persecution, imprisonment, affliction, madness and the blindness of not being able to see the evidence and substance of God on earth as it is in heaven. And when you called upon God, His servant and teacher appeared and you lacked for nothing for the servant of God manifested for you that which you could not create for yourself. Now man is forgetful. He is incapable of humility. There is no such thing as self imposed humility. Even this God does for you and it is written that God loves the truly humble. There is the false humility of church and obedience to the doctrines of men who speak of what they know but have not seen with their self imposed religion which also does not exist for all men require a sign and unless a man blind himself, he cannot see. He thinks he sees and therefore he is blind and sins for whatsoever is not said or done through faith is sin, this is the first gift of God. Man being prideful considers when he looks around himself, all of this I have done through the work of my hand but he forgets and he must be reminded of the man he saw in the mirror broken and contrite of mind. And all that a man has will be taken from him, for the Lord giveth and the Lord taketh away not to harm you but to profit you in faith. YOU CANNOT SERVE THE WILL OF GOD AND YOUR OWN SELF INTEREST AT THE SAME TIME FOR YOU WILL SERVE ONE AND NOT THE OTHER. THE TRUTH OF GOD CANNOT ALWAYS BE FOUND. IT CAN ONLY BE FOUND IN THE TIME IT CAN BE FOUND THEN YOU WILL REMEMBER THE WORDS OF THE SERVANT AND YOU WILL BE FILLED WITH SHAME AND THE SERVANT WILL SPEAK GOD INTO YOUR SHAME.
