Andalusia Police Investigator arrested by ABI / ABC Narcotics Investigators According to the Covington County Jailors Daily Report, Andalusia Police Sergeant Investigator Jason Curry has been arrested by Alabama Bureau of Investigations and Alabama Beverage Control Narcotics Investigators and has been charged with one count of Distribution of a Controlled Substance ($100,000.00 bond), Possession of Controlled Substance ($50,000.00), and one count of Prostitution Prohibited Act ($15,000.00 bond). Curry was reportedly taken into custody by investigators in the parking lot of Andalusia Walmart Wednesday evening around 6 p.m. Very few details are being released at this time by law enforcement. Additionally, Currys father, Otis Randall Randy Curry, age 59 of Mac Curry Road in Andalusia was also arrested by state law enforcement investigators. Randy Curry has been booked in the Covington County Jail on two counts of Distribution of Controlled Substance ($200,000.00 bond). Agents tell WAAO early Thursday morning, Jason Curry faces three charges as of right now. There could be more to come. Jason Curry was transported from the Alabama Beverage Control office in Andalusia to the Covington County Jail just before midnight Wednesday. He was immediately booked and bonded and was released to waiting family members and friends. In conjunction with these arrests, investigators served at least one search warrant on a residence located on Mac Curry Road just off Moore Road Extension south of Andalusia. It is unclear at this time what officers were searching for or if they found what they were looking for.
