Andaz: 1971 : Today is the death anniversary of Jaisaab .... My memory takes me back, when during college days, I heard the sad news that one of the partners of my favourite MD,had passed away ( though we read that he had been hospitalised ) !! I was shell shocked and coincidentally this song was on the top of the popularity chart then.... still brings goosebumps when I hear this song & specially these Hasratsaabs piercing words maut aani hain aayegi ek din, jaan jaani hain jayegi ek din, aisi baaton se kya ghabrana yahaan kal kya ho kisne jana True never expected Jaisaab to pass away & his musical journey, to end so soon, because they (SJ) wanted to go beyond the sky chand taaron se chalna hain aagey,aasmaano se badhna hain aage !! No doubt, this fabulous song was played during his funeral procession ... Hats off to this wonderful mesmerising personality who alongwith Shankarji gave us many many hit songs ! Chahenge tumko umra bhar , tumko na bhool payenge ....
