One of the hydrophyllic polymers potentially used to retain the condensation may come from a derivative of the fungi that cause ropey bread. I read this in patents on geoengineering. It is easier and cheaper to grow the polymers, than it is to manufacture them. There are likely other organisms involved, but that is very, very in depth. But they are likely alive. Pete Ramon
