The product platform is now being split into 4 product lines and they are looking at hiring candidates who have an entrepreneurial mindset and would be excited to be a part of this technology product start up with global vision. The market size they are looking at is USD 80 Billion in 2014, growing at over 15% CAGR. Suffice it to say that there is a huge volume of space and headroom for growth in the segment. This company is an 800 strong professional services company with presence in over 72 countries. Position : Android Developer Education : Engg/ MCA Experience : 3 - 6 years of relevant experience. You should be able to join within 30 days of offer. Location : Bangalore Compensation : Competitive and commensurate with candidate caliber and experience Role Responsibilities and Desired Profile : 1. Be part of a team designing and developing next generation of GIS based products. Develop a scalable and closely integrated Android based GIS Hardware Platform. Develop a feature rich set of Android Applications to implement the features suggested by PM. Understand product specifications and develop UML-based diagrams. Work in a collaborative atmosphere. Work with PM and other members of the development team. Integrate the Android Applications with the backend APIs. Unit and System Test the product. 2. Engineering degree in Computer Science. 3-6 years of experience into Android Development. Good analytical and programming skills. Strong in Core Java and Web APIs. Strong Experience in Android Platform with special exposure to hardware integration, device drivers, performance optimization. Exposure to UX Best practices on Android platform. Exposure to REST/ SOAP/ JSON/XML. Experience in Java, Experience with SQL and RDBMS. Experience in product development (no project should be of duration less than 6 months). Knowledge of core Java fundamentals such as MT, Collections, GC, Exceptions, Pooling.
