Android Lollipop launches in #Australia November 2014 GOOGLE’S latest version of #Android begins rolling out today, as the fight between the search giant and Apple heats up in the #mobile space. Android’s sweet new “#Lollipop” release brings security improvements and easier ways to view and respond to notifications. The new #Google software for #mobile devices even lets you lend out your phone without worrying about a friend accidentally circulating your naked selfies on #Facebook. The update is rolling out today for those with Google’s Nexus line of smartphones and Motorola’s G and X devices. Other manufacturers have also announced the update coming soon, including LG in coming weeks for its G3 #smartphone. But you will have to wait until early next year for Sony’s rollout to the Z2 and Z3 devices. And #Samsung, Android’s biggest manufacturer, is yet to announce timing for updates on any of its devices, including the recently released Galaxy Note 4.
