Anfi – historical sailing year Anfi renews its commitment to sports and is a proud sponsor of a Gran Canarian sailing team during this year. In close collaboration with the local nautical club (Real Club Nautico de Gran Canaria), Anfi will attend with these committed sailors of different categories several competitions throughout the world. The first regattas will be held in Norway (Moss) and the following one in Germany (Travemünde). Joel Rodríguez, a sailor representing the Real Club Nautico de Gran Canaria and sponsored by the Anfi Group, is now the absolute champion of Laser Radial category in the world championship organized by the International Organization ILCA. This young Canarian sailor has won 5 of the 11 regattas celebrated in Poland and didn’t have to go out on the last one to be announced the winner, due to the big advantage in points compared to his strongest competitor. Joel Rodríguez is living a fabulous year; he has won the Spain championship and the Cup, the European Junior competition in Denmark, the international sailing competition in Portugal and now the championship in Poland.
