Anger we all may suffer from anger I know I do but Im trying to be a better person a Christian woman the woman God wants me to be here are a few scriptures and words from T.D. Jakes to help deal with anger issues: And God saw their works, that turned from their evil ways, and God repented of the evil, that He had said that He would do unto them; and He did it not (Jonah 3:10) But now ye also put off all these; anger, wrath, malice, blasphemy, filthy communication out of your mouth (Colossians 3:8) For God hath not appointed us to wrath but to obtain salvation by our Lord Jesus Christ (1 Thessalonians 5:9) Someone had done you wrong, and your first reaction is one of rage. The blood begins to pound in your head as the anger rises within you. You want to lash out and inflict the same kind of pain that has been inflicted upon you. Wait! What are you doing? Do you really want to be like the person who hurt you? What would Jesus do? You know He would turn the other cheek. But its not fair! you scream. What about justice? What about it? Its not for you to judge. There is only one judge, and you must trust in Him. Ask God to help you release your anger so that you may be like His son. Turn the other cheek and forgive the one who has done you wrong. Your vow to God (prayer)....... Oh God, I am angry, but help me let it go. I will choose to be merciful and forgive the one who angered me. Thank you for giving me the strength to forgive and to follow in the steps of Jesus. #HISLADYSACREDPROMISESFORGODSWOMAN #T.D.JAKES
