Angie has had tremendous improvement in the last 24-48 hours. She is awake and is mouthing words and sentences to us. I can make out part of what she is saying but I really stink at reading lips. Pam and Alex are actually pretty good at it and able to translate most of what she is saying. We would love to give her a dry erase board but her hands are still restrained so she doesnt pull at the trach/vent. Her vital signs are good, oxygen is 97-98% and her blood gas was very good. The doctors rounded and were very positive about her improvements and said if everything looks as good in the morning as it does today they are planning on turning off the sedation and taking off the ventilator to see how well she does. Praise God for these improvements and pray for continued healing and improvements. Our God is an awesome God!!! Thank you all, we love you guys. - Michael
