Anhingas mate trying to free string from his partners beak this Sunday. A lady from the Audubon Society left me a fishing net and some green backs to lure it. They mate for life. It will eventually starve to death if not cut off. The beaks are serrated causing a common problem for this species. I was too late to catch the violent struggle between to 2 birds to remove the string. It was difficult shooting since the sun was blindly that time of day.
