**Animal Welfare League** Please share! **Cherie** “Thunder is one of the biggest TEDDY BEARS. He will give me kisses while I am driving him to Petsmart,” says one of our volunteers. Thunders owner died and so Thunder became homeless. Thunder is a volunteer favorite who is very friendly and also strong, but he wants to be a LAP dog! “So many of the other dogs at the shelter are barking and jumping around in their cage, but most of the time when we walk pass Thunders cage he is just sitting in his cage and looks so sad. He will go as far up to the cage bars as he can in hopes that someone will pet him. The volunteers have been working with him every single day on his walking and have noticed a tremendous difference. He seems like he is a fast learner and seems to listen well. This guy just wants to bond with everyone he meets. Overall he seems like hes good with other dogs and really just wants to play with them and play with everyone he meets. With continued training we think he could be a wonderful dog for someone,” says another volunteer. “This dog will make a great companion to some lucky person/persons...I walk him every day...He has become my best friend and my passion ...wish I could take him!,” says a third volunteer. He is a one-year-old American Stafford Terrier and is good with kids.
