Animesh Bandyopadhyay wrote: Dharma, as our ancestors wanted us to understand is social order, ethics, justice and conscience and NOT religion i.e. method of worship, as the propagators of Hindutwa want us to understand. Now religion has no business with God or worship. Rather it now refers to kitchen (beef, pork), language( Urdu /Arabic for Muslims, Sanskrit for Hindus), calculation of year( solar for Hindus and lunar for Muslims), dress code, beard and such mundane matters. In all the cities and towns in the country Hindu hotels and Muslim hotels can be found, but have you seen Christian or Buddhist or Sikh hotels?Sadly, the views of Guru Golwalkar or his predecessor Dr Hedgewar are in sharp contrast with the teachings of the holiest book of the Hindus ,The Bhagbathgeeta.
