Ann Margaret, one of the Miracle cats (formerly FeLV+) and Frieda Little Fang, a neighborhood stray, both found their forever homes yesterday. Jacki Q, SCs VP, and I delivered them east of San Antonio to their gorgeous new home. Marilyn Boeger is well known to us as a great supporter of SC and sister to long time past adopters, Ron and Leslie Boerger (mom to Shadow Cats Emily- one of the last survivors or ARC) Freida jumped up on the bed, circled a few times and settled right down and started grooming herself. Maggie was head over heals happy to be back in air- conditioning! Both seemed very happy to be there and kept looking at Jacki and I to see when we were leaving! They let us know it was ok to go.... Marilyn has two other cats that shell be introducing Maggie and Frieda too and we hope well get frequent updates. Because we knew a few weeks back that this adoption was going to happen, it enabled us to say YES to Lilly and Louie. Two healthy cats gone, two Feleuks that need to be here arrived. Thank you Marilyn for opening your heart and home to these furry angels!
