Anna Jamie Sagum this makes me miss the Philippines. As a musician it would be easy for me to criticize all the things I thought that were wrong with this cover. I will critique on what I find absolutely wonderful about it. 1. English is a secondary language for this person and so to pull it off, is amazing. If I had to sing in another language, Im sure I would mispronounce 97% of the words. 2. He sings with energy, passion and with confidence. The notes may be a little off and Im sure he knows it. That makes me even more impressed by the way he sings. Its easy to be confident when on key, it takes even more guts to sing when you know youre off. 3. He sings the song in the correct format. Verse chorus verse chorus bridge chorus. This can be very difficult for some people. This tells me that this person has a good understanding of song structure. Great job! Mabuhay!
