*Announcement* Hello everyone, This is Tennessee Valley Forecasting COO Kevin Gober. I just thought Id make a few announcements concerning this Facebook Forecasting Page. *1st and Most Important. With Severe Weather Season Looming around the corner, I want to take the time to announce our new protocol to warn you of Severe Weather. We would like to offer a notification service through Facebook. All you have to do, is click on the pages name, and up on the top right hand corner, there youll find an icon that usually takes you to where you set up notifications for friends, family, etc. Just click on the icon that says Notifications and turn it on. That way, if we post a forecast, youll all see it. Also, if we post about a severe weather forecast, youll know ahead of time. Were about to get to that. *Severe Weather Forecasts Here on this page, were going to have Severe Weather Forecasts and depending on the right parameters, instability, that forecast will be based on a 0-5 scale, 0 being None, 5 being Extreme. This is to give you a general Idea of just how severe it will get in your area. Yes, we said area. Ill explain, briefly, here in Alabama, our weather changes depending on where you live, and sense we usually have Severe weather that comes from the West or South West, during most severe weather threats, The stronger storms lose intensity as they move East or North East, in the event that the weather becomes extremely volatile, We WILL inform you ahead (usually 24-36 hours) of time. *Once I get my own full forecasting lab up and running, I will start to tape my chases and so forth. Maybe sell them or have giveaways for weather enthusiasts like myself. Well, Were moving up in the world here, soon we hope to have an account on. Twitter as well. Thats it.
