Announcement from HRH Benigno the Blameless, the Blamer and Supreme Ruler: His Royal Highness, President BS Aquino, tonight spoke on national TV and started by blaming the previous administration. He then launched a full-throated attack on the Supreme Court. He even made threats to use Congress to force the Supreme Court to bend to his wishes. According to His Royal Highness, he decided to gather all the savings of government agencies and use them to benefit the people. He is angry that that Supreme Court said it was wrong and contrary to the Constitution to get savings from agencies in the middle of the year, and to malverse public money. His Royal Highness expects you - his loyal subjects he assumes to be stupid and no more than mere fans - to just trust him with money amounting to between P150-billion and P177-billion that he will capriciously spend for your own good. (P2-billion went to Tarlac and some made its way to relatives, according to reports.) The whole amount is over and above the budget of the Office of the President, as approved by Congress. His Royal Highness will not give you any audited and detailed accounting of the P150-billion to P177-billion of your money he decided to spend in your name. Basta tandaan ninyo, ginawa nya yun para sa inyo, ok? Mind over matter na lang. Kahit walang economist na nagsasabi na totoo yung sinasabi niya, maniwala na lang kayong mga tanga kayo. His Royal Highness also wants to keep Butch Abad as comptroller of the treasury, because he is blameless too and because he knows so many secrets. Please respect His Royal Highness and his pork barrel. And that includes you, members of the not-so-supreme Supreme Court.
