Announcements 1) The Holy Father, Pope Francis, has requested the Church all over the world to dedicate September 28 as a day of prayer for the Third extraordinary General Assembly of the Synod of Bishops to take place from 5 to 19 October on the theme Pastoral Challenges to the Family in the Context of Evangelization. Therefore he invites us to pray for the Synod during all the masses next Sunday. 2) Next Sunday 8.45 AM Mass will be youth mass. All the youth along with their parents are urged to attend the same and occupy the front pews. 3) Health Cell is organizing a Dental Health Related talk on Your Smile by eminent Dr. Couple (Mr. Ashish Nair and Mrs. Surbhi Nair). The talk will be preceded by a free dental check up from 9 am to 11 am on 28 September, coming Sunday followed by the awareness talk on Dentistry. Please register at the CCO and attend this talk in large number. 4) There will be Divine Mercy Intercessions held on Friday 26th September after the 7 pm Mass. 5) The Senior Citizen Cell invites all the Senior Citizens of our Parish on 1st October being World Elders Day to the Eucharistic Celebration offered by Fr. Robin Sellwyn SJ at 4.30 pm in the community center followed by a get to gather. And on 6th October a Pilgrimage to the Mount. Buses will leave at 3 pm from the Church compound. Kindly register at the help desk. 6) Hearts United Sports Club of our parish opens on 1st October 2014. All those who wish to enroll themselves are requested to collect the membership form from the parish office at the earliest. 7) There will be a Lectors Workshop cum training program for Lectors on 3rd October from 9 am to 12 noon. It is compulsory for all the Lectors to attend this program. 8) Pre-Baptismal Course will commence on 5th October at 9.45 am. For Registration contact the parish office with a copy of the marriage certificate. This course is compulsory for parents before baptizing your child.
