Anon: My DS is 11 months old & I am still BF. I have been thinking about the possibility of giving him Milk after he turns a year. I work full time and I just cant imagine pumping for much longer. My plan is to BF in the morning before work and in the evening. However here in the US giving Cows milk to a child at a year is the norm. However alot of my friends dont give their children milk at all. They instead eat foods with more Calcium or drink Almond Milk. My son usually drinks his bottle with EBM for my mom during the day and then he will nap for her. I do not give him juice. Im wondering Do I give him Milk? And if so How much? If not then what will he drink all day??!! I just need some ideas and suggestions...First time mom here. Trying to do the best I can!
