Anon asks Hi please help. I just found out my mother in law has been hitting my 21mo while babysitting him and my 9yo. My 9yo yold me she hits him when he throws something at her or his sister and when he climbs upon the table and when he hits his sister (his hitting has only just started and Im beginning to wonder where it came from!). Obviously we called her immediately and told her to stop and she accepted but she came back at us and said she only done it because we suck at discipline. Please help me go back to her with research that supports gentle parenting.
