Anon asks My gorgeous daughter is 16 months old (number4) and I recently had baby number 5 who is 6 weeks. My other children are teens. Yesterday my daughter was very tired due to a bad nights sleep (teeth) and in the evening when I was feeding the baby she climbed up onto the lounge and started slapping me in the face and head and pulling my hair. She also tried to pull/scratch at the babys head. She thought this was all very funny. I firmly said no and gentle pushed her away and talked about gentle hands etc, but my blood was boiling inside. I understand she was very tired but I also felt unable to address the problem due to feeding the baby. Luckily my husband came in and took her to another room. Suggestions please on how to handle such behaviour in a 16 month old?
