Anon please I was doing permitted work until September when they stopped my ESA (Id been on it a year but took no end of calls to find out why they stopped it and had a different excuse every time) I have increased my hours at work (still part time) and the only benefit my husband and I are getting at the moment is Housing Benefit. My Dad lives 300 miles away and cant drive to come see us due to ill health, we cant afford the fuel to go see him so he sent me a cheque for £500.00 in my Christmas card as a present. My question is will it affect the housing benefit. My dad sent it with all good intentions so we can keep treading water and not go into debt. Thanks in advance
