Anon question I need insight from women that have gone through this and what they think is the best way to do it... I went to my first prenatal check-up at 11 weeks and when they did the ultrasound, they found no heartbeat and the baby measured 8weeks. Most likely, the heart started beating at 8 weeks. They scheduled me for a d&c in a week, because they didnt find a spot for me earlier. I am all for natural ...and I would have liked to wait to come out naturally, but I dont know how much longer i can wait, its really hard. The dr also prescribed Cytotec if i want to do it more naturally(instead of d&c). My fear is that i will end up needing a d&c anyway, since they dont guarantee everything will come out on its own. So i am thinking, why go through all the pain and trouble if ill probably need a d&c? Anyone have gone through this? What did you do. I am most concerned of the risks of having a d&c, because its not a natural process.
