Today my Mom would be celebrating her 68th birthday and I can only imagine she would be enjoying some sort of yummy lemon dessert while listening to M. Ward. It has been a few short years since she has been gone and her absence doesnt get any easier it just eventually has become my new normal. It amazes me that at my most difficult times since she has been gone, my Mom reaches out to me in some special/unique way to let me know she is with me and it brings me such a sense of peace.
