Anonymous Confession: I would like to congratulate Barrick Turquoise Ridge on covering up 2 accidents within the past 2 weeks. A company whose value statement is everyone going home safe and healthy day. They have been focusing on the triple 0 digits and LTI numbers at the gate because they are reaching their one year mark with no LTA. Well last week a miner sliced his wrist up pretty bad, this should be a reportable and should be an LTI, but because that would affect their precious numbers, cover up! A contractor injured his foot over the weekend, this is a triple 0. What great examples of cover ups TR! Just because you want to buy and waste your companies money on more useless clothes, mugs, hats, pens, pink diggers, all sorts of shit that a person doesnt need. Budget is always a hot topic out at the mine, but the budget is wasted on stupid shit, and not spent where its needed. TR is the most disgraceful mine in the area. The ounces are falling short and just dont seem to exist anymore. Unprofessional superintendents and bosses that talk down and treat a person like theyre stupid, no need to cuss in ones face to get a point across. Have some respect, even when cussing, people arent deaf. The miners are mining unsafe. Youre forcing equipment into unsafe headings. You all need to take a step back and focus on whats really important, the way TR is being mined its headed for a disaster. I just hope they all see their errors before its too late, there are some great people who work there, but management is all a waste and nothing but selfish, ignorant humans who dont care one bit about safety. Its everyone for themselves
