Anonymous Parent: Warren, Can you tell if theres a link between dyspraxia and headaches? My daughter has severe headaches on a weekly, sometimes daily basis. They started about a year ago and were mostly in the morning so I thought that they were related to anxiety, but for the past 6 months she has been getting them in the afternoon and evenings. She does have some ocular issues and has completed therapy vision, so I have ruled her eyes out as being the issue. Stomachaches often accompany her headaches and more than not she wakes with both a head and stomach ache. Her pediatrician suggested increasing her H2O, which I did, and thought that she could benefit from magnesium. My daughter cannot swallow pills so I found a natural doc who prescribed a powder form of magnesium and suggested removing dairy and gluten. I gave her the magnesium in a drink each morning for a couple of weeks but it became an issue bc she hated the taste and would get sick trying to finish the drink. Gluten was tough to eliminate for similar reasons, so I gave up after I didnt see a change. Im at a loss as to where to go from here and was just wondering if you had any suggestions.
