Anonymous asked: Salam, I was born and raised in a Muslim family allhamdullah and practiced Islam with diligence and faith, but ever since Ramadan, Ive been getting horrible waswasa. It started out with my prayers until I no longer repeated them and it has extended to blasphemous thoughts that I disprove but end up coming again. I fear Ive become a kafir and I take the shahadah every day because of it but they still persist. Ive increased my dhikr and started saying the azkar and end up in tears. Please help. Walaikum Assalaam Warahmatullahi Wabarakatuhu, Narrated Abu Huraira (may Allah be pleased with him): The Prophet said, Allah forgives my followers those (evil deeds) their souls may whisper or suggest to them as long as they do not act (on it) or speak. (Sahih Bukhari- hadith 6664) Narrated Abu Huraira (may Allah be pleased with him) The Prophet said, Allah has forgiven my followers the evil thoughts that occur to their minds, as long as such thoughts are not put into action or uttered. And Qatada said, “If someone divorces his wife just in his mind, such an unuttered divorce has no effect. (Sahih Bukhari- Hadith 5269) So, you should constantly seek refuge in Allah from these whispers. May Allah guide us to the straight path. Ameen
