Anonymous says: My boyfriend and I were on and off for a little. We got pregnant. He had to move an hour away for work, which created more issues. We broke up, got back together before our son was born, and broke up when our son was around 2 months. We got back together a month later and got engaged 4 months later. I just graduated with my masters, got a job, and we moved to a new town. He had to quit his job and eventually found a new one. I figured once we live together and have our own place, things will get easier. But what really happened is we realized we cant work things out. We ALWAYS argue. We have been trying to work things out for almost two years. So, we agreed that he will move out. But he is taking his sweet time and coming up with excuses of why he cant move yet. Either he cant afford it or he wants to move further away (two hours away to another big city) so he has to find a new job first. This leads me to my first question: How do I get him to move out when his name is on the lease? I pay the rent every month, so it is technically my house. Subject two. When he moves out, I do not have ANY family around me. Closest family is 5 hours away. I dont think I can make it alone as a single working mom. So, i want to move to either Dallas (dad lives there) or Houston (mom lives there). I work for a company that is located in Houston, which is 8 hours from where we live right now. So we would have to agree to exchange our son every month at minimum. If I moved to Dallas, we could switch every two weeks since it is only a two hour drive to meet half way. However, I would have to leave my company. It is a GREAT company. Fortune 6 last year and has great benefits and flexible hours. I get one day off a month. I can miss work if my son is sick or I can leave early to take him to the doc. I am not sure I can find such a great company in Dallas. I would prefer Houston with my same company, with the exception of seeing my son less. Any recommendations or ideas? Thank you all ahead of time!
