Another Australian man was just tortured and killed by the Taliban in Iraq. For those of you who think there is little difference between what the Taliban believe, and what Jesus taught, here is a brief summary of how true Christians should act: “Blessed are the poor in spirit, for theirs is the kingdom of heaven. Blessed are those who mourn, for they will be comforted. Blessed are the meek, for they will inherit the earth. Blessed are those who hunger and thirst for righteousness, for they will be filled. Blessed are the merciful, for they will be shown mercy. Blessed are the pure in heart, for they will see God. Blessed are the peacemakers, for they will be called children of God. Blessed are those who are persecuted because of righteousness, for theirs is the kingdom of heaven. If you are poor in spirit, mourn, meek, hunger for righteousness, are merciful, pure in heart, a peacemaker, or persecuted because of righteousness, then you are someone whom Jesus said was blessed. He did not praise the priests, political leaders or warlords. Remember how they put him to death using a fake kangaroo court? There is a big difference between the morality of peace, love and non-violence which he originally taught, and most other religions as practiced on Earth today (although it is similar to the tenets of Buddhism), and also a big difference versus organized Christianity as practiced in the USA or Europe. Later in the future, those political leaders or warlords will say that they acted in his name to fight wars, or to make people poor. Jesus will reply, Get away from me, you evil doers! I dont know you! Most people do not understand. Their minds are closed. Many people imagine that Jesus was just a myth and never existed. Crop circles (his promised signs on the Earth) do not exist either for these people, who call them works of the devil. So it is today on September 29, 2014 when all remains in doubt.
