Another Daily Bible Devotion Sunday 9-14-14 ☛ SELFISH AMBITION James 3:13-14 NKJV Heavenly Versus Demonic Wisdom ✞Who is wise and understanding among you? Let him show by good conduct that his works are done in the meekness of wisdom. But if you have bitter envy and self-seeking in your hearts, do not boast and lie against the truth.✞ {Insight} WE ALL POSSESS SOME DEGREE OF SELFISHNESS. Yes, and the IMPORTANT thing is to ACKNOWLEDGE IT. Yep, people will be much more understanding if our intentions are revealed instead of hiding it. We cannot hide our intentions from God. Now IF we feel strong enough to mirror GOD’S WAYS, let’s change the selfish direction by giving time, encouragement, and even money - IF it’s available. People often try to shame (in a sense) others into giving them money, but hey, we can’t give what we don’t have. If anyone doesnt feel strong enough, ASK JESUS FOR THE STRENGTH. Something we each DO HAVE is LOVE from Jesus Christ. Certainly, and confidently share the love of Christ to all. =D {Insight plenty added/edited}
