********** Another Doctrine vs. Elder John ***************** Israelite Nation, above you mentioned Tiberius 15th year was in 29 C.E. which is correct! It is important to realize יהושע the Messiah was 30 years old when He began His ministry in Year 15 of Tiberius Caesar in 29 C.E. according to Luke 3:1-23. It would be impossible for the crucifixion and resurrection of the Messiah to have taken place in 30 C.E. as some have speculated, for there are four Passovers mentioned in the Messianic Scriptures. The first Passover mentioned took place when the Messiah was 12 years old and is mentioned by Luke. As the Messiah began His ministry in 29 C.E., it would be impossible for His crucifixion and resurrection to have taken place in 30 C.E. as there is no accounting for these three Passovers mentioned by John. The Passover in Luke 2:41 took place in 11 C.E. when the Messiah was 12 years old, the Passover in John 2:13 took place in 29 C.E. when the Messiah was 30 years old, the Passover in John 6:4 took place in 32 C.E. when the Messiah was 33 years old and the Passover in John 12:1 took place in 34 C.E. when the Messiah was 35 years old. The Messiah was in fact crucified on Passover on Day 14 / Month 1 on the fourth day of the week and was resurrected on Day 17 / Month 1 before sunrise on the weekly Sabbath in 34 C.E. My response: Elder John Another Doctrine: It would be impossible for the crucifixion and resurrection of the Messiah to have taken place in 30 C.E. as some have speculated, for there are four Passovers mentioned in the Messianic Scriptures. Elder John: Messianic Scriptures This term is a misnomer (wrong or inappropriate!) Perhaps Another Doctrine, you forgot others as in Mark 14:1,12 the concluding chapter of this book, His last passover. [16] All scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness: [17] That the man of God may be perfect, throughly furnished unto all good works. 2 Timothy 3 Another Doctrine: As the Messiah began His ministry in 29 C.E., it would be impossible for His crucifixion and resurrection to have taken place in 30 C.E. as there is no accounting for these three Passovers mentioned by John. The Passover in Luke 2:41 took place in 11 C.E. when the Messiah was 12 years old, the Passover in John 2:13 took place in 29 C.E. when the Messiah was 30 years old, the Passover in John 6:4 took place in 32 C.E. when the Messiah was 33 years old and the Passover in John 12:1 took place in 34 C.E. when the Messiah was 35 years old. the Passover in John 2:13 took place in 29 C.E. when the Messiah was 30 years old, the Passover in John 6:4 took place in 32 C.E. Elder John: Jesus the Christ of Nazareth was big on parables using agricultural references, the children of Israel could/should relate to! There is not one 1 mention or reference to successive years from John chapters 2-6 to indicate a span of four 4 years? Yet, he mentions the many feasts, and references to the current time: harvest John 4:35 Say not ye, There are yet four months, and then cometh harvest? behold, I say unto you, Lift up your eyes, and look on the fields; for they are white already to harvest. The Feast of Tabernacles was at hand John 7:2 And it was at Jerusalem the feast of the dedication, and it was winter. John 10:22 But the building up and the coming denouement: The writer Apostle John (John 21:20, 24) You must realize, he did not indicate was at hand as the Feast of Tabernacles was at hand with the same emphasis, but as a coming event yet to happen was nigh John 6:4 was nigh at hand John 11:55 six days before the passover John 12:1 before the feast of the passover John 13:1 and thereafter: eat the passover John 18:28 Then led they Jesus from Caiaphas unto the hall of judgment: and it was early; and they themselves went not into the judgment hall, lest they should be defiled; but that they might eat the passover. at the passover John 18:28 preparation of the passover, and about the sixth hour John 19:14 ...And back to our storyline: Now when he was in Jerusalem at the passover, in the feast day, many believed in his name, when they saw the miracles which he did. John 2:23 (As I said, In and Out of the story) No mention of a history with Jesus the Christ at Passover, Just this same one in that year! My emphasized is it this was his last passover, the year is C.E. 30. John wrote with emphasis [13] And the Jews passover was at hand, and Jesus went up to Jerusalem,[14] And found in the temple those that sold oxen and sheep and doves, and the changers of money sitting: [15] And when he had made a scourge of small cords, he drove them all out of the temple, and the sheep, and the oxen; and poured out the changers money, and overthrew the tables;[16] And said unto them that sold doves, Take these things hence; make not my Fathers house an house of merchandise. The rebuilding of Solomons temple by King Herod, the Great, is why the discussion and the marvel at the construction still going on: Mark 13:11 And as he went out of the temple, one of his disciples saith unto him, Master, see what manner of stones and what buildings are here! And at the same passover 29 C.E: Jesus conversation with the Jews: John 2:[19] Jesus answered and said unto them, Destroy this temple, and in three days I will raise it up.[20] Then said the Jews, Forty and six years was this temple in building, and wilt thou rear it up in three days? [21] But he spake of the temple of his body. Therefore, the Jews were not referring to the number of years of reconstruction, (Year 29 CE – 46 years = 17 BCE) but to the number of years since the temple was rebuilt or renovated. In around 19 BCE, Herod the Great renovated the Temple, which became known as Herods Temple. Legend has it that the construction of the entire complex lasted only three years, but other sources such as Josephus say that it took far longer, although the Temple itself may have taken that long. Let’s do some simple subtraction: (19th year plus 3 =17 years) The Romans destroyed Jerusalem and its Temple in 70 AD under Titus. Here is more validation to CE/AD 29 Passover date and conclusion from an archaeological link with Pilate’s and the coins struck by the prefect on three successive years beginning with years *29/30 CE-AD. Another Doctrine: As the Messiah began His ministry in 29 C.E., it would be impossible for His crucifixion and resurrection to have taken place in 30 C.E. as there is no accounting for these three Passovers mentioned by John. Elder John: Matthew 19:26 With men this is impossible; but with God all things are possible. Mark 10:27 With men it is impossible, but not with God: for with God all things are possible. Luke.1:37 For with God nothing shall be impossible. Another Doctrine: there is no accounting for these three Passovers mentioned by John. Elder John: (wrong) All references to passover build to the eventual coming of the end. Another Doctrine: John 2:13 took place in 29 C.E. when the Messiah was 30 years old, the Passover in John 6:4 took place in 32 C.E. when the Messiah was 33 years old and the Passover in John 12:1 took place in 34 C.E. when the Messiah was 35 years old. Elder John: From John 2 thru John 6 is 4 years in time. And you say all was 3 years ministry of Christ at passover in Jerusalem with his disciples? But no mention in those supposedly additional passover years. Exactly right, no passover but the one was at hand in the book of John until the one, His last we all were there! Elder John: Its a rap!!!!!!! Galatians 1:18 Then after three years I went up to Jerusalem to see Peter, and abode with him fifteen days. Galatians 2:1 Then fourteen years after I went up again to Jerusalem with Barnabas, and took Titus with me also. The Minister Paul was writing and teaching the Galatians in AD 50 ... Before this writing at least seventeen 17 years ago made a visit to Jerusalem (to visit Jesus the the Christ of Nazareth?) ...NO... to see Peter the firsher, made fisher of men, by the Christ! Another Doctrine, HOW IS IT THEN IF JESUS DEATH WAS, AS YOU SAY, IN 34 C.E. DOES HE (JESUS) CALL PAUL IN THE SPIRIT IN ACTS 9? PAUL CAME ON THE SCENE IN THE 30S A.D ....ACTS 8 (WITNESS STEPHEN DEATH) [1] And Saul was consenting unto his death. And at that time there was a great persecution against the church which was at Jerusalem; and they were all scattered abroad throughout the regions of Judaea and Samaria, except the apostles.[2] And devout men carried Stephen to his burial, and made great lamentation over him.[3] As for Saul, he made havock of the church, entering into every house, and haling men and women committed them to prison. Acts 9 [1] And Saul, yet breathing out threatenings and slaughter against the disciples of the Lord, went unto the high priest,[2] And desired of him letters to Damascus to the synagogues, that if he found any of this way, whether they were men or women, he might bring them bound unto Jerusalem.[3] And as he journeyed, he came near Damascus: and suddenly there shined round about him a light from heaven: [4] And he fell to the earth, and heard a voice saying unto him, Saul, Saul, why persecutest thou me?[5] And he said, Who art thou, Lord? And the Lord said, I am Jesus whom thou persecutest: it is hard for thee to kick against the pricks. In conclusion: All one version of the story leading up to the final hour. As you read from the context you may then see that the Apostle John breaks IN and OUT of the storyline, much like some movies today for example Director: Quentin Tarantino in Pulp Fiction. This version of events told by the one disciple whom Jesus loved, John the author of the titled book. If you read the books of the Bible: Matthew, Mark, Luke, and John as you would a novel, to look for harmony or agreement you will not necessarily find understanding. [10] If there come any unto you, and bring not this doctrine, receive him not into your house, neither bid him God speed: [11] For he that biddeth him God speed is partaker of his evil deeds. 2 John 1
