Another Emerald City Comic Con into the history books, and just when I think they cant get any better, they walk right up and prove me wrong. Much thanks to Jim Demonakos and Kristina Rogers and Todd Jones and the rest of their staff and crew too numerous to mention, the Angelic Minions (patent pending) for being made of 100% undiluted awesomeness! Also, many thanks to Lisa Mantchev, Ellen Beeman, Scott James Magner, Emma Michaels, Lorna Suzuki, and the other participants in the Writers Block track for making it such a phenomenal success! Theres also John Scalzi, Dave Wolverton, Cornelia Funke, Kevin J Anderson, Marie Frances, John Gallagher and Patrick Rothfuss, who I apparently need to try and find here on Facebook, because clearly I have been far behind on my adding. And of course, none of this wouldve been so cool without my partners in crime, Quiana Kirkland, Garth Reasby, Heather Reasby and the inimitably delightful and magical Kiri Callaghan. And last, but by no means least, thank you to all my friends who stopped by the booth, hung out in the writers room, chatted with me in passing and picked up copies of our books to read. All of you - you made this convention happen. You make me fall in love with ECCC every year, and I cannot possibly thank you enough for it. But by god, Im going to try.
