Another Latin-American conservative driven solution to the economy that only benefits the upper class. Same solution that was attempted in the years before Hugo Chavez. In Venezuela they will try anything but confront reality. Reality is that we need to be growing an economy that favor the generation of products and protect copyrights, not only for the powerful corporations but also for young people that are starting a business -of any kind, including artistic products. It doesnt matter how much you control the exchange rate if only a few benefit from the official rate, and those that cant buy have to pay high prices in products that are imported by those same people that benefit from the controlled rate.
