Another amazing St. Rose Alumni, David St. John!! David St. John has been named been named a Commended Student in the 2015 National Merit Scholarship Program by placing in the top 5% of more than 1.5 million students who entered the competition by taking the 2013 Preliminary SAT/National Merit Scholarship Qualifying Test. He also recently competed in the State Cross Country Meet on Saturday, November 1. David finished 39th with a time of 16:15. David has gone to States all four years while at St. Francis High School. David St. John is the son of Margaret and Quinton St. John of Perrysburg, a member of St. Rose Parish and a graduate of St. Rose Grade School. David is a member of National Honor Society, Teen Institute, and the Asian Culture Club. He has been a four year member of the varsity cross country and track teams. He has participated for four years in the Math Club competition. David is undecided where he will attend college but plans to study computer science or engineering. Some amazing accomplishments excelling both academically and in athletics. We are so very happy to congratulate David on such a spectacular high school career. We wish him all the best this year as he graduates from high school!
