Another big fraud about us is that there is hardly any provision for regional referendum in Nigerias constitution. Nigerias carefully crafted constitution of unitary governance system makes people of every region elect so-called Governors an Abuja Representatives. The Governors and Representatives look forward to Abuja for sustenance, they thus remain loyal to Abuja and Nigeria, and therefore cannot implement what their people truly want - no referendum - the main ingredient of democracy. The masses are thus denied participation in the affairs of Nigeria, because once they elect the Governors and Representatives, thats it; the Governors and Representatives can eat the peoples bones, nothing happens. Even though there is a provision for recall in our constitution, but activating that clause smacks off attempting to relocate a river to a safer place just because humans got drown in it-- it is almost a suicidal task! There are too many frauds about Nigeria that need to be remedied or Nigeria goes under as civilization increases daily.
