Another big week for Birmingham Conservatoire composers coming up! On Monday we have the first Composers Platform of the year (7.30, Recital Hall) with an unmissable array of never heard before pieces! On Monday and Tuesday this week, we have one of Italys leading composers in residence with us, Mario Garuti (Head of Composition at Milan Conservatory). He will be giving masterclasses and a seminar on his music. Then on Friday, from 2 - 5 in the ABH, the fantastic Richard Baker conducts Thallein Ensemble in an open workshop on three new works from Luke Deane, Bobbie Jane Gardner, and George Kawalek.
