Another bucket list item down. As a child, the mummers parade was always a big deal....and I always wanted to ride the parade. Tonight, it was an honor to ride with the other veterans on a float I help build. I was humbled by the waves, cheers but got a bit choked up when some patriotic tune was playing\, reminding me of my day in the BGI RED ONE and I realized both sides of the parade route were standing up. Thank you all... but it was hard to accept to that kind of attention.
