They go thru a lot of adventures around the world and defeat his nemesis named Baron Salis Greenbeck, an evil toad who wants to rule the world, with his hanchman Stiletto, a black crow with a hispanic dialect and his pet Nero, a white caterpillar who really sets up the schemes. Story and Characters: This series intrigues me. I never seen anything like this. A mouse go thru danger like 007 and Danger Man but with humor. I cant believe how humorous that series is. It reminds me of Monty Python. Sure there may have some serious tones but the humor is extraordinary. Each joke gets better and the action could be fast paces but a little slow and thats cool with me because u cant make it fast and making the jokes funny. Also, I love all the characters including the wacky villains. They are menacing but fun to watch. I get kick on the jokes especially Penfold be silly and more brought my joy of laughing. Oh yeah! Classic! 2/2 2. Writing: Oh, boy! I can make an essay about the writing here but Ill make it short and sweet. The writing is brilliant. Nothing wrong with the dialogue because I understand them even though I think some of the audio problems with dated technology in the 1980s. Anyway, the script writers especially one of them is one of the voice actors and thats probably an hard job doing writing and voicing. Anyway, they make sure the jokes not only funny but help the story as it goes along, Im sure the fans appreciate the Month Python style of humor. I love the writing and you will love it too. 2/2 3. Acting: I love the voice cast especially Jason Scott as Danger Mouse plus narrator always inspire and makes me laugh. Sure people may not understand the acting of humor from these characters but they are very interesting and very entertaining. After I watch the entire series on DVD, I laugh from these characters and their words and expressions to make the characters unique and fun. Like I said above, love the voice work and you will get a kick out of it too. 2/2 4. Animation: In limited animation, especially from the earlier season, shows how great talent they have and I love the idea of using photographs as buildings plus make the scenery look like London. Oh wow. I was impressed and keep the focus on other countries like Egypt and Hong Kong....makes me feel i went all over the world. They keep the animtion going and Im very happy guy who is a big fan of 1980s this cartoon with impressive animation. Love it! 2/2 5: Overall: I really love this series and happy to own all the series on DVD to watch over and over. With great characters, nice animation, well acted and nice premise...is no wonder they are getting a revival series coming next year on BBC. I hope they get it on BBC America.
