Another comparison (Yay!) Theres been a lot of talk about the interaction between Deneb and Call of the Haunted/Mystical Space Typhoon. I have a comparative that should hopefully demonstrate that Deneb will in fact activate. Player A activates Mystical Space Typhoon, targeting one of Player Bs face-down spell/trap cards. Player B chains Artifact Sanctum. Player A has no response so Player B chains the targeted card which is a call of the Haunted which targets the Artifact Caduceus in Player Bs Graveyard. The chain resolves. Chain Link 3: Call of the Haunted summons Artifact Caduceus from the graveyard. Chain Link 2: Artifact Sanctum Special Summons Artifact Moralltach (Artifact Caduceus meets its trigger) Chain Link 1: Mystical Space Typhoon destroys Call of the Haunted and so Artifact Caduceus is also destroyed. In a new chain Artifact Moralltach activates but Artifact Caduceus will not activate because it is required to remain face up on the field to activate and resolve its effect. Deneb, like many other trigger effect are not required to remain face-up on the field to activate and resolve their effects. During your opponents turn, when this Set card in the Spell & Trap Card Zone is destroyed and sent to your Graveyard: Special Summon it. You can only control 1 Artifact Caduceus. Artifact Sanctum Special Summon 1 Artifact monster from your Deck. You can only activate 1 Artifact Sanctum per turn. You cannot conduct your Battle Phase the turn you activate this card. If this card in its owners possession is destroyed by an opponents card: You can target 1 card on the field; destroy that target. Satellarknight Deneb If this card is Summoned: You can add 1 tellarknight monster from your Deck to your hand, except Satellarknight Deneb. You can only use this effect of Satellarknight Deneb once per turn.
