Another day in bed nursing this cold. Charlie went to rehab this morning & picked up a new gallon of paint for the back porch so we can do some touch-up on the hand rails and posts. The hummingbird population is now down to just a handful of birds versus the several dozen we had all summer. These cold nights are pushing the migration rapidly. I have been putting out mouse bait stations and looks like some of them have taken the bait and then died inside the downstairs bathroom exhaust vent. WHEW ! ! they sure do stink. Charlie thinks he can remove the debris without too much effort.
