Another day is here...I have a sick child on my hands...chills & vomiting. I am worried a bit about his academics...he has missed so much school this year albeit for legitimate reasons...hopefully this coming up term will be a better one for him than this last one was... Whats on my mind today? A phrase I was told a number of years back: No one can MAKE you feel angry...when I first heard this term, I did not understand it...my thought was Really? do you know some of the people I know?...these people can MAKE me feel angry! ... after thinking on it for a bit, I realized that no...the people themselves do not MAKE me feel anger...I ALLOW myself to feel anger towards them. Anger, at one time in my life was a normal emotion...now, it is a foreign one and I am not extremely fond of the negativity it brings to me. I am going to once again attempt to stop ALLOWING people and their actions, words & deeds (or lack of them in some cases) to bring up the emotion of anger. Does this mean I have to like everything that I see? everything others do? everything others say? ... absolutely not...it just means that I will not ALLOW anger to enter me in regards to that. This task is not an easy one...strong dislike of situations fuels angry emotions...as of this day, however, I will do my best to live the nice, peaceful life of Robins World...I will live & let live and keep many of my personal negative thoughts to myself...I WILL still have the thoughts LOL...but...just because I think someone is an idiot, it does not mean I have to tell them...filter on :D ... I will smile and nod if I have nothing nice to say too :D Not too hard for me to do with the last one, I am generally a quiet person anyway...I say a lot when I am writing but if I was talking face to face to you, chances are I would not say shit if I had a mouthful... Anyways....I hope you all have a great day...I am going to do my best and fill it with my typical activities of cleaning, crafting & cooking... Give & get hugs...laugh, love, live...all that good stuff...
