Another event was when my sister, Sele was baptized. It was the day that we had the family picture taken at the BOI college. I still remember it! And all the fun weddings and activities that were held at the church.. Oh yes, I cant forget practicing the dance with Massey Toi for the stake dance fest/competition in Kaikohe. And the square-dancing practice with our PE teacher, Mr Honiss from Kerikeri High School. I also remember doing all the dishes in the kitchen for the major activities.. and decorating the chapel up to celebrate Halloween. And I remembered our teacher, Sis. Oliphant teach us on the stage about the word of wisdom and she brought cooked wheat and peaches n cream to demonstrate it. And making a special cake for Daddy/Daughter night for Young Womens. And remember the dances.. and stake activities and road shows that we put so much effort into.. Wasnt it Little Red Riding Hood or a take on the story.. Those were the days! so precious.. Oh yes and I remember having a New Years Bash up on the Hill at Aunty Anne Noms where we had made pavlova and German chocolate cake for with whipped cream and all the toppings. How that makes my mouth water. And we danced and had fun all night!
