Another great song from E Pluribus. One of the reasons critics hated GF is they were the first hard rock hippies. Farner was accused of being no Bob Dylan when it came to protest lyrics,I disagree. This album was released at the height of the Vietnam War. A lot of the kids attending their concerts would end up getting drafted. Farner gave them messages of hope. While Led Zeppelin barked out lyrics about squeezing juice running down their legs,GF gave the American youth support. Grand Funk actually outsold Zep in the early 70s
