Another idea for Antioch. I was recently in Indianapolis at the Canal Walk at White River State Park. It was beautiful with paddle boats, canoes and gondolas on the canal; as well as condos, restaurants, green space, and small music stages along the length of the canal. If a similar concept were developed here with all the restaurants, retail and housing theyre talking about it would become an instant destination in Middle TN. It might be a bit ambitious for what theyre talking about, but Id rather see something unique go in rather than just rehash all the same types of retail spaces weve seen going up all over town. If were not different then theres no reason for people to leave their immediate area. This would be different.
