Another minor update on my medical condition: Throat still hurts, but as of now, its not as severe as it was the past few days. Im slowly starting to eat some solid food and bear with the pain and I definitely need to eat more since I probably have lost a few kilos from eating porridge and plain soup all day. Being a guy who loves eating a lot, this is certainly painful. OTL I havent tried talking though. I do feel it will still hurt my throat as well, but thats just how it is. It was tough for me to communicate with my colleagues all week long, though I guess they all had a good laugh reading my body language and stuff. LOL! This also brings me to bowing out off performing at the Japanese-Korean Culture Festival 2015 this morning. Im still really bummed that I couldnt perform due to my condition. It really goes to show how much performing on stage means to me and its heart-wrenching whenever I have to miss a performance due to a condition like this tonsillitis I have. Nonetheless, I do hope my friends, including Usop, Kaori (bless her soul for taking my place yet again at the very last minute) and Jasmine Minori would put on great performances this weekend while I continue to recover at home. Wish I could go to support them, but chatting will be a chore though, so staying at home is best for me. To be honest, I am going through a minor depression, which also goes beyond having to miss out on performing at JKCF this weekend as there seemed to be yet another missed opportunity I wish I could have gotten. Despite that, I am hoping to make myself even more active in performing this year as by the time June rolls around, it would have already been my 15th anniversary as a performer and I want this to be a really big deal considering how far Ive come since I first entered the performing arts realm 15 years ago. I may have to go to the clinic tomorrow just to see if my throat is getting any better. Hopefully, I will be good to start rehearsing for Universal Cosplay Convention, UCC this coming Monday. I hope to make my next performance one to remember while having a great time on stage too. Till then, I hope all of you have a great weekend ahead. Peace out.
