Another one of those 30-year milestones today, with my first job - TopicsExpress

Another one of those 30-year milestones today, with my first job after college starting on March 12, 1984 with Dialog Information Services, which was a subsidiary of Lockheed at the time. An opportunity allowing me to experience a brand new technology, far ahead of its time and even Al Gore ;), and a leader in online information in the big Silicon Valley, led by the iconic, Roger Summit. Ive sure got to experience some neat things and wonderful people along the way. Special thanks to a good friend and mentor, Geoff Sharp, who believed in a guy just out of college from the Midwest to become part of his team, and Charlie who managed us through the later times with Thomson/Reuters and the beginnings of ProQuest. There are some things in life that you look back on and wished you could change or did a little differently, but this isn’t one of them for me. For those that Ive worked with at Dialog, below is a clip that I ran across with a few memories and familiar faces. I sure do miss everyone!
