Another productive day--my style. JP and I went yard-saling right after breakfast. I bought a Levi Strauss denim skirt ($1) , a pair of denim shorts (instant slimmers, but they dont work at all!!--$1), a glass cake dome/stand for $5 which Im going to paint and turn it into a $35 collectible (but I might keep it), a magnifying glass for 25 cents (the English/Spanish dictionary at the mission house is tiny print!), a black leather jacket for $10 (its going to NC as soon as I can find a box), and 7 Corelle bowls and 12 plates for $3, for Sylvia. Im not mailing them--too heavy. JP bought a tote sans lid for 25 cents and a jig saw for $5. Brought it all home and put it away already. Sherry came by and we played 4 games of Bananagrams--all of which were really close! Its fun--good brain exercise. Recommend it for school-age kids. The rest of the day I walked the dog, rested, crocheted a new pattern (still working on it), rested, and looked at adoptable dogs on the Internet at JPs request. Got a big lump in my throat when I looked at a black Pom puppy with a touch of white on his chin and chest. Looked so much like Samson that I had to quit looking at it. I surely do miss my little black dog, but Im glad that God let me have him at all. Now its time to call it a day. I praise God for giving me grace to be pleasing to Him.
