Another rough day. Got a call at work this morning from my fiancé letting me know that my grandfather had just passed away. Between Sunday and today, I have all but run out of the will power to hold myself together. I am emotionally exhausted. After I saw him Sunday afternoon for the last time, I prayed for God to simply help him, do what ever was best for him. I asked God to either heal him or take him, which ever God knew was best for him. Today God answered that prayer. He is now in a better place, a city of gleaming polished stone where the air is permeated with light and the soft chorus of voices in song surrounded by gently rolling hills covered in the most perfect green grass next to shimmering crystal waters and majestic mountains with a billowy purple sky. A place of serenity and contentment with no pain or sorrow where no shadows fall. Thank you everyone for your thoughts, prayers and well wishes.
